Yeah, those caps had just started to get popular around ‘95, so I had to be one of the crowd. I’m cool in a totally no style of my own, do what other people are doing kind of way.

Gangsta? I also have the very same Nike cap (can’t find them in the Rochester area for some reason so I get my supply from California).

One of my co-workers was mistaken for a “gangsta” at a local pub because he was wearing jeans and a t-shirt and had his cap on backwards. I chuckled when the bouncer came around and told him to turn his hat around or else he’d get the boot.

For some reason this post reminds me of American Graffiti.
