Haha, I'm sure I stole the title from somebody else. I think "We've Moved" just kind of sums it up. Maybe I can try to have it copyrighted like Trump did with "You're fired!”

Those kind of support requests are very difficult to deal with and in view of the recent brouhaha if you do not mind I am going to explain why. First off understandably few people ask for help before they get started. They present with a train wreck. Second: What they describe as the problem is not necessarily what is causing it. I can remember nearly every CSS positioning q I have handled and I recall that you presented with a misplaced head graphic. The third difficulty is the necessity to move the guy backwards before he moves forwards. Finally I didn't want to over sell my own templates. Any now for my midwifery in delivering hundreds of blogs my worked has been publicly trashed by Matt & Co. At least you got fixed up before I quit. Good luck :)

<strong>Root:</strong> Thanks for the compliment. I was making a real mess before you commented that I was taking the wrong approach in the forums. So I deleted the install and started a test version with Gemini. And that has made all the difference. I think you were saying that it's harder to help people when they start out by making things more complicated than they should be. I agree.

<strong>Clay:</strong> Yes, I heard that some people didn't want to get invested in a gallery system not based on MySQL. And I agree that it's a valid concern, but not a deal breaker for me. I also looked at Coppermine, and Gallery, and a couple of others. They all had attractive features. It's great that you found something that works for you. It sure makes life easier.

Thanks Ari!

Cool. I looked around at the different packages and ended up going with Coppermine - it was quite easy to integrate, too. I was just wondering about iPap because I had seen on another blog (somewhere out in the blog-averse) that somebody wanted to move away from it.

Now, you just need some more disinformation, spread liberally! :p Good job!

Thanks for the kudos Erik! It certainly took long enough to get this thing together. I can't wait to see whatever changes you have in store for kartooner.com, and the release of Sideville. Exciting stuff.

Hey Clay, thanks for the kind words. It means a lot that it looks clean and professional to you. I just try to keep things as simple as possible. I guess I chose iPap because I found it the easiest to customize. After playing with WP for a couple of weeks, the code made sense to me. I'm sure there are more feature rich gallery applications, but I love the simplicity of iPap.

The site looks great - very clean and professional. Good job with your conversion to Wordpress! I'm trying to find a good photoalbum package for my blog... What made you choose iPap?

Greg: It's nice to see that you've finally settled and with several awesome features to boot. The site looks fantastic.

I appreciate the sentiment about kartooner.com. I'll be reworking it soon to include more robust archive searches and other fancy shmancy things that you'll have to see to believe, or believe to see, whatever.

My main goal is to clean up the stylesheet (and the code respectively) and rework my portfolio which will reap benefits for my readers and frankly, for myself.

I'm also planning on unvailing the <a href="http://www.sideville.com" title="Sideville">Sideville</a> site soon. Okay, enough rambling on about my projects.

Thanks, I really appreciate the feedback!

It's also interesting that the numbering started with 4. I suppose I deleted some test comments. Seems like it should have started back at 1. I'll have to look at that.

This is a fantastic implemetation of wordpress and Root's Gemini template. I've bookmarked the page so I can pick it to pieces and hopefully learn something from it. ;)
