I had actually always considered Gamecube my first choice, but then I heard that the X-box had superior graphics and game selection.

Honestly, I've never been able to compare either in terms of graphics or games. The last gaming system I've viewed in person is the SNES, which was back in the dark ages.

I appreciate the advice. It's the first I've received online or off. As a lifelong Nintendo owner myself, I should investigate further before committing the ultimate betrayal.

To tell you the truth, I've been more than happy with my Gamecube. Although, I'm a bit biased because I've been a strong supporter of Nintendo since the 80s. The Cube is light weight, portable (more so than XBox and PS2), and best of all the price is too good to pass up.

In this case, you can buy a brand new Cube at $99.00 while used consoles go for around $65.00.

To each his own, however.
