Webmail Space
I signed up for the GMail beta program a few weeks ago. I don’t really need another free webmail service, but it doesn’t hurt to give things a look-see.
I currently use two different Yahoo! accounts to filter the things I sign up for, and the usual spam. It seems that Yahoo! has been feeling the pressure from the massive free storage that GMail will provide, because they just announced that their basic mail storage will increase to 100MB this summer. Now that’s a hell of a difference from 4-6MB. I don’t store mail on Yahoo, and I can’t imagine ever needing that much space, but damn.
While I’m thinking about it, there is a nice little application called Yahoo!Pops that you can use to download Yahoo! Mail into your desktop mail client.
